Halo-Lit vs Edge-Lit vs Front-Lit

Halo-lit signs project LED light backward, creating a soft glow around the logo perimeter — elegant and non-distracting for medical and professional spaces. Edge-lit acrylic uses laser-engraved patterns to guide LED light through the material face, illuminating the entire surface evenly. Front-lit (face-lit) channel-style letters have LEDs behind a translucent acrylic face for maximum visibility — ideal for larger reception walls. Backlighting transforms any of our lobby signs into a premium focal point.

LED Technology & Power

We use commercial-grade LED strip and module systems rated at 50,000+ hours. Color temperature options range from warm 2700K for hospitality to cool 5000K for clinical spaces. RGB and tunable-white systems allow color changes via remote or app. All installations run on low-voltage 12V or 24V drivers — safe behind walls, UL-listed, and dimmable with standard 0-10V or PWM controls.

Construction & Installation

Backlit signs are built as self-contained units: acrylic or wood face, aluminum backer plate housing the LED modules, and a single power cable routed to a hidden driver. We supply a mounting template and wire exit diagram so your electrician can prep the wall before install day. Average installation takes 1-2 hours with no visible hardware.
